Lap Band or Gastric Bypass Qualifications:

 You may be qualified for weight loss surgery if you meet any of the following conditions:

You are 100 pounds or more overweight 

You have a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 40 or greater

Your BMI is between 35 and 40 and you have one or more of the following obesity-related conditions:

• Diabetes
• High blood pressure (hypertension)
• Documented sleep apnea
