Dr. Salvador Ramos* is a bariatric and general surgeon. He serves as a bariatric surgeon at Barix Clinics of Ohio.

Dr. Ramos received his DO degree in 2001 from Midwestern University, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, IL. He completed his internship and general surgery residency at St. James Hospital in Olympia Fields, IL and at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Prior to obtaining his DO degree, he received his BS in Medical Technology in 1992.

Upon completion of his residency training in 2006, Dr. Ramos completed an extensive bariatric fellowship at the Legacy Health System in Portland, OR. Dr. Ramos is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons, and American Society for Bariatric Surgery.
