Cook at Home

Don’t regularly rely on restaurant food. It’s harder to make healthy choices when confronted with a menu full of indulgences. Restaurant meals contain 200 (plus) more calories than meals prepared at home. Slow cooker meals can be a nutritious alternative and the meat cooked this way tends to be moist, tender and well-tolerated after surgery.
